My name is Bobbie Genereux, and I am a Clerical Rep for CUPE 1975.
Can you give a brief description of your background?
I am an Administrative Assistant for the College of Nursing – Distributed sites, University of Saskatchewan located at the Regina Campus. I have over 20 years of experience in administration, with expertise in the areas of project management and accounting.
As an Administrative Assistant, I support the faculty and students ensuring the efficient operation of the Undergrad Nursing Program, throughout the province.
Why did you choose to become a union representative on the CUPE 1975 executive?
Why did you choose to become a union representative on the CUPE 1975 executive?
To advocate for fellow members and ensure optimal work environments for all. As the clerical representative, I hope to build confidence and promote the mutual support of all members. It is achieved by representing and defending the interests of all members.
Can you give some personal details (e.g. hobbies)?
Some of my hobbies include fishing, hunting, and photography.
What is a fun fact about yourself.
I volunteer as a mascot. I can be found playing various characters for local sports and community organizations.
